These three former Redwood Empire high school runners will be competing to make the USA Olympic Marathon team next week.
The 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for the Marathon will take place on February 29 in Atlanta.
The Redwood Empire has three declared athletes ready to toe the starting line and go after their Olympic dreams.
Montgomery High’s Sara “Bei” Hall not only has a chance at making the team but is one of the favorites.

700 athletes will toe the line at Centennial Olympic Park Atlanta, GA for the 9:03 am Pacific time men’s start, with the women starting 10 minutes later at 9:13.
