1978 Montgomery Track & Field team

2009 produced some top notch teams.
Thought I would look back over 30 years to the 1978 team I was on to compare.
Check out the hurdles. Maybe the best group ever on one team?
This was only the third year of girls track in the area.
If you look at 1978 Prep Best list you will see that Petaluma and Piner also had great teams that year.

Peterson was the top hurdler on the team that year but finished 3rd in finals when one of his shoes came off half way thru the race. He was still able to manage a 15.2. Vikings took top 4 spots and won F/S race.
