26 Redwood Empire Runners Help to Break World Record

In 2023 the Dublin meet produced a WORLD RECORD for most Boys Under 5:00 at 1600 In One Meet at 411.
The Redwood Empire produced 23 of those marks.
This year the Redwood Empire had 26 boys under the 5:00 mark for the 1600 with a grand total of 567 of 1344 starters breaking five.
Santa Rosa’s Johnny Ando lead the Empire by winning heat 58 out of 60 with a time of 4:25.52.
Maria Carrillo’s Cameron Jones was our next fastest at 4:26.28 making him the 3rd fastest freshman in Empire history.
