Last years winner was Daniel Cartica who averaged 3:32:25 for all 7.
The 2017 World Marathon Challenge is scheduled to begin on 23rd January at Union Glacier, Antarctica. There is no exact time for the start as it is entirely subject to weather conditions. The second marathon will occur in Punta Arenas, Chile on 24th January, and competitors will then fly around the world by charter plane.
