As most high track stars are hanging up their spikes for the year Sonoma Academy’s Rylee Bowen may just be getting started.
Bowen destroyed the Empire Sophomore record with a 2:12.80 800m to take 2nd at the Golden West Invitational yesterday (6/11/16).
That time moved her to 5th All-Time.
Rylee’s sister Kate, who will join her at Sonoma Academy in the fall ran the mile in 5:12.78 for 4th. In the Empire only the three league champions and Casa’s Adria Barich ran faster this year.
Montgomery’s Ian Fisher placed 8th in the 110HH at 15.52 +1.4, moving him to =37th FAT All-Time.
