Maria Carrillo owned the NBL from 2016-2018.
In 2019 a league realignment took place with separate pennants for dual season and finals.
Santa Rosa won both NBL Oak in 2019 with Analy taking the NBL Redwood dual pennant.
We then lost both the 2020 & 2021 seasons to Covid.
The last three years Maria Carrillo has taken both the dual and finals pennants with Rancho Cotate taking the Redwood dual pennant in 2022 & 2023 and Cardinal Newman taking it last year.
If Maria Carrillo can beat Montgomery Wednesday they will again be the dual pennant winners setting up another fantastic battle at the finals.
