Congratulations to Nicole Lane Clancy on her excellent PB performance at the Eugene Marathon today!
Nicole ran 2:38:08, 1m1s faster than her prior PB set back in 2021. She was third female finisher. The time slots her into the #8 all-time female performance for the Eugene Marathon!
The time fell just a bit short of the 2028 US Olympic Trials Marathon qualifying time (2:37), but:
This was her first marathon since 2023, and her first since the terrible injuries suffered when hit by a car less than 10 months ago, and her first as a mother of an infant.
6:02 Pace (min/miles)
