Mendocino’s Lila Wigton ran the 2.7 mile Ragle Ranch Regional Park course in 16:16.
That time won the Coastal Mountain Conference early season meet by over 2 minutes.
It was the second fastest time ever run on this course in the last 16 years.
You may have heard of the faster girl, 3 time division III state champion Hanne Thomsen.
Last season as a sophomore Wigton had a good season placing 5th CMC, 26th V NCS and won two other meets.
But this seems to move her up to a much higher class.
Mendocino is a division V school so watch out state.
