Ashlin Mallon Is Tearing Up The Courses

Rincon Valley Middle School’s Ashlin Mallon isn’t making waves, she’s making a Tsunami.
Ashlin is the daughter of Jon Mallon and his wife Julia “Stamps” Mallon.
Julia of course was our first of three National Cross Country Champions.
Ashlin is showing she is ready to try to run in mom’s footsteps.
Ashlin is an eighth grader running for Rincon Valley and has had a spectacular season so far.

Before Ashlin’s runs the fastest Middle School times on the Spring Lake 2 miler was by the Bowen sisters. None of the other top prep runners ever had an opportunity to run the course in the 8th grade. Below is a composite that Thomas Benjamin did of the Bowen girls from the years they ran it.
