Kim Conley won the first heat of the USA Olympic trials in the 5000 meters finishing in 15:40.04 with a 67.2 final lap.
Sara Hall also made the finals finishing in 5th at 15:42.70 as top six were all automatically in final.
Finals will be on Sunday.
