Some records seem like they will never be broken.
Now the boys have been doing T&F around here since the 1890’s so their list is much longer but the girls have had some of their own.
They didn’t get to put down marks until 1975.

Santa Rosa’s Wendi Simmons has the grand oldest mark approaching 40 years ago.
38-10w from 3/28/87 at Stanford along with a 38-4 mark.
Since then 37-5¾ is the closest anyone has come.

Long Jump
Rancho Cotate’s Amey Mitchell spanned 19-8 on 6/1/90 at the State trials.
That broke Simmons 18-11¼ record.
No one has come any closer to Mitchell’s mark than Simmons.
