There are four entries in the Viking Track Classic Saturday that have better marks than the Stadium Records.
Three come from a very strong Pittsburg High team.
In the Pole Vault the Stadium Record is 14-0 Cooper Plattus, Maria Carrillo 2018 Viking Track Classic.
Entered is Pittsburg junior Khaliq Muhammad who recently won the West Coast Relays at 16′ 2″.
The next best boy is Petaluma’s Max Pedrotti-Jacobs who has a best of 13′ 1″.
But in the girls event Khaliq’s sister senior Jathiyah Muhammad cleared 14′ 4″ at the Texas Clyde Littlefield Relays.
Only one girl in the nation from North Carolina has gone higher this year.
In the 110m High Hurdles Pittsburg’s La’Rico Tezeno ran 14.58 at the Stanford Invit. which is faster than these records at Montgomery.
