Amrie Lacefield Steeplechase photos
Montgomery’s Amrie Lacefield placed second at the Nike Nationals in the 2000m Steeplechase.
Her time was a mere 0.11 seconds off the California All-Time record held by Sonoma Academy’s Rylee Bowen.
It was also the second fastest time in the Nation this year.
After 800 meters she was back in 11th place but passed 7 on the next lap and 2 more on the final lap.
