The Redwood Empires CoCo McKamey and Kassidy Schroth each won events at the Pittsburg Winter Champs Qualifier.
McKamey won the long jump at 17-3 moving to =34th All-Time. She also won the high jump in a 2022 prep best of 5-0 and took 2nd in the 60m hurdles and 10th in the 150m dash.
Schroth won the 60m dash and took 6th in 150m.
Both are from Santa Rosa High.
McKamey qualified for Winter Championships in hurdles and both jumps.
Schroth qualified for Winter Championships in both sprints.
St Helena’s Eva Bowen qualified for Winter Championships by placing 6th in 300m in 44.03.
None of the three plan to go to the championships.
