Josie Hill took 2nd in the 800 at the National Junior Olympic Championships in Georgia.
The top 8 all earn All American honors.
The winner was Ashley Lehman from Kansas.
The Kansas HS State meet is divided into 1A thru 6A divisions.
Lehman was the 3A state champion in 100 11.99, 200 24.63, 400 54.65 and pole vault 12-4.
In third was Zoe Dorsey the North Carolina 800 state champion.
Santa Rosa High’s Janelle Wanliss was the Redwood Empire’s next highest placer taking 18th in the 400 hurldes.
