Courses are ready to go, runners are ready but air quality conditions may cancel this years league finals.
The NCS established rules that if the air quality is considered unsafe that no outdoor sports may compete.
1003H Air Quality Index
An air quality index of less than 151 must be registered for all high school outdoor athletic events hosted by NCS member schools during preseason, league and section championship events. NCS member school schools may not host outdoor contests when the AQI is equal to or greater than 151. NOTE: Host school determines AQI using an app or website info. (NCS Board of Managers 4/3/18)
If you want to check the current air quality here is the link, just type in the City your meet will be in.
As soon as I hear from the host schools I will post on both web site and facebook if each is a go or not.
