No surprises here as Maria Carillo’s depth, entire top 7 finished in the top 12, turned back Montgomery’s 1-3 finish of Hanne Thomsen (16:55.8), Amrie Lacefield (17:40.9) and Seelah Kittelstrom (18:11.3).
Analy’s Sakina Wood gave seniors the top four places as she ran 19:02.
Maria Carillo was lead by sophomore Joslyn Tribbey (19:15.3).
The Puma’s have now won 19 of the last 21 finals.
As it was last year Carrillo, from finals and Montgomery, from dual meets, will share the Oak pennant again this year.
Thomsen becomes only the second girl to win the title four times following Santa Rosa’s Delaney White, 2012-2015.
