This is the second year of the VVAL but last years finals were cancelled because of the fires. Vintage won the pennant that year based on the center meets.
Vintage completed a perfect VVAL season and again had an incredible score that would have still won with the other six schools combined. The Crushers’s had their entire top 7 all place within the finals top ten.
Only Casa Grande’s Emma Baswell was able to break into Vintage’s top five taking second in 19:14.
Vintage totally dominated with junior Mary Deeik taking the individual title in 18:41 for a 33 second margin of victory.
Vintage completed their team scoring with Amber Elias (3rd 19:24), Tamara Hernandez (4th 19:32), Josephine Borsetto (5th 20:16) and Maile Sittler (6th 20:34).
Napa’s lead runner was Molly McGrath (7th 21:08).
Petaluma’s top two runners were Eva Tate (8th 21:13) and Georgiana Morris (11th 22:10).
Vintage’s Ahnali Wisniewski (9th 21:17) and Yadira Garcia (10th 21:18) took the final top ten spots.
Casa Grande’s Kayla Jimenez Carreno had the final top 12 spot in 22:15.
