Sonoma Academy’s Andre Williams demonstrated he is more than ready for his senior year as he blazed the 3.05 mile Spring Lake course in 15:31.
Williams broke the school record on the course, moved to second all-time among CMC runners here, behind only St. Helena’s Brian Cole who in 2006 ran 15:28, had the fastest time run on this course since El Molino’s Brian Schulz ran 15:26 in 2016 and is now tied for 33rd on the All-Time list.
Other CMC runners making their leagues list included 18th Bailey Williams, Technology 16:24, just 3 seconds off Technology school record, Aidan Barker, Technology 16:42 and Alex Pallais, Sonoma Acdemy 17:07.
Teams looking strong saw Casa Grande with five runners in the top 11 including sophomore Owen Hite in 3rd at 16:11.
Santa Rosa lead by junior Andrew Engel in 16:07 had 8 runners in the top 20.

Likewise Montgomery’s Leah Haley appears to have done some great summer training.
Last year at the NBL finals Haley was fourth in 19:21.
So far this year she has won the Rancho Invite and this one in a big PR of 18:59, winning by over a minute.
On the team side Santa Rosa dominated with 11 of the top 17 including 2nd and 3rd in Anika Williams 20:00 and Jacqueline Hale 20:06.
Sonoma Academy’s Kenzie Stewart earned the =32nd spot on the CMC Spring Lake list.
