Girls Evolution of Redwood Empire Track & Field Bests
Empire records are so exciting and it was great to have three of them this year (2022).
One by Hanne Thomsen of Montgomery in the 3200 at 10:06.89 at State and two by Lily Mulligan of Maria Carrillo in the pole vault at 13-1 and 13-2½.
But for the most record breaking years you have to look at 1995 through 1997.
1995 had seven with the next two years producing nine each for a total of 25 over three years, WOW.
Obviously the first few years of girls track produced lots of records since there were none to start with so I’m not listing all those.
