Daniel Skandera continues to pile up the world records taking down three more on June 27th.
Daniel now holds 29 distance world records which can be seen here.
On 6/27/17 Daniel ran the mile in 5:02.5 at a local All-Comers meet to lower the 9 year old WR. He now holds all the mile records for 5 year olds thru 9 year olds and is on track to be the youngest to ever break the 5 minute mile.
In that mile race Daniel also passed the 1,000 meter distance and 1,500 meter distance faster than the old world records for those distances giving him three records in one race.
And Daniel is just one of a big house hold doing this. His sister Rebekah owns two world records and the two of them along with two more brothers have all qualified for the USATF Nationals at University of Kansas at the end of July!
We may however never get to see any of them in the CIF high school races because they are home schooled.
