Santa Rosa’s Daniel Skandera placed 2nd in the 11-12 year old age group at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships.
Skandera covered the 3,000 meter course in 10:01.00, equal to about a 10:42 3200m.
There were 364 finishers in that age group at the meet in Madison, Wisconsin.
His brother Paul placed 53rd in the 9-10 year olds with a 11:45.15 time for 3,000m
