Former Maria Carrillo runners Rory Smail and Sydney Rivas each had big PR’s for their Cal Poly teams in February.
Smail ran the 6th fastest mile ever for a Redwood Empire runner at 4:08.82 and Rivas turned in the 8th fastest 5k at 16:32.05.
