Technology sophomore Josie Hill competing for the West Coast Striders performed the greatest Redwood Empire 800/400 of all time.
Competing at the indoor Reno-Sparks Convention Center she first destroyed the 800 meter Empire record winning in 2:11.57 then four hours later ran the 12th All-Time 400 in 57.52, which is also an indoor Empire record.
Other outstanding Strider performances included
Montgomery senior Sadie Sanders who lead three Empire runners under the old indoor Empire record in the 200m clocking 25.21.
Santa Rosa high senior Janelle Wanliss 26.42 is now #2 AT with Josie Hill’s sister Adelaide Hill, a sophomore at Summerfield Waldorf of Santa Rosa now #3 AT at 26.52.
Analy junior Evan Foley had the 2nd All-Time Indoor Empire 200m in 23.18 and the 3rd All-Time Indoor Empire 60m in 7.32.
Former Rancho Cotate and SRJC star Corey Nelson is the owner and coach of the West Coast Striders.
