We have had so many incredible girls doing Track & Field around here that is amazes me when someone new can break into those ranks.
But last weekend two girls did just that.
Montgomery freshman Hanne Thomsen had a mind blowing day at the Dublin Distance Fiesta turning in a 4:49.02 in the 1600 meters and then later in the same day defeating a start studded field in the 3200 with a 10:14.46 time.
Meanwhile at the Eddie Hart Invitational Santa Rosa junior CoCome McKamey won four events including some far out distances in the jumps, long jumping 18-4 and triple jumping 36-0½.
